Office of the Prime Minister

Dear Prime Minister,
Re: Your Attendance at the Vancouver-Kingsway Community Town Hall Meeting
As per my telephone conversation with your political assistant yesterday, I am formally writing you to express my appreciation for your interest in meeting with the Constituents of Vancouver-Kingsway to participate in a Town Hall Meeting to listen to their concerns regarding the “David Emerson Affair”. As you know we have strived to conduct ourselves in a professional non-partisan manner and will welcome your participation in this matter.
As you have indicated, when we take on new jobs and responsibilities in our lives it is only to be expected that we shall make mistakes early on. The test of an individual’s character is not that we make mistakes, but in how we re-dress them.
I look forward to coordinating with your office with regard to your schedule and look forward to meeting you.
Sincerely,
Kevin J. Chalmers
Chair
