Letter to Jennifer Chiu (Communications Director for David Emerson)

Hi Jennifer,

Please accept this invitation on behalf of David Emerson.

As a Vancouver-Kingsway grass roots driven organization we would like to extend a formal invitation to Mr. Emerson to attend and participate in a town hall meeting with his constituents. We would like to encourage a civil, respectful discourse and would be pleased to facilitate this conversation. Feel free to contact me with appropriate times and dates for when Mr. Emerson will be visiting his riding and we will make ourselves available at his convenience.

We felt that it would only be prudent to give Mr. Emerson an opportunity to address his constituents in a public forum and share his perspectives in an open and freely democratic manner. I am sure he will see this as an excellent opportunity to get his message across to the only people whose opinion really matters – his constituents.

I look forward to you finally having a personal opportunity to visit his riding and meeting some of the wonderful people that I have had the privilege to meet.
