More de-elect Emerson signs heading to Vancouver

VANCOUVER/CKNW(AM980) - Another couple hundred lawn signs will be gracing Vancouver neighbourhoods calling for MP David Emerson to step aside. This thanks to yet another push by De-elect Emerson campaigners. Spokesperson Kevin Chalmers says the signs are just one of many plans up their sleeves.

"We do have a number of actions planned, you know at the appropriate times. We are definitely not going quietly into the night and I think that the fact that that's clearly demonstrated by the significant increase in lawn signs going out throughout the riding, I think backs that up very clearly."

Chalmers says since ethics commissioner Bernard Shapiro ruled prime minister Stephen Harper and Emerson did nothing wrong in the floor-crossing incident, the campaign against the MPhas received over five times the number of daily sign requests.
