This is an open invitation to everyone who wants to voice his or her displeasure about the state of our democracy here at home. As you know, David Emerson, elected under the banner of one party, crossed the floor to sit in Cabinet with another. Please note that this is NOT a partisan event: Tory, Grit, or NDP, we all feel cheated!

A Vancouver-Kingsway resident, Manuel Pereda, has hired a small aircraft and pilot out of Toronto to fly over Ottawa as Parliament resumes sitting on Monday, Apr. 3. It will tow a banner with a message asking Emerson to call home - he has not been available to constituents in his riding since crossing the floor. The plane is expected to fly near Parliament Hill between 10 and 11, which is when we will be distributing leaflets and signs (good for planting on your lawn afterwards)!
