Volunteer Stories

The De-elect Emerson Campaign would like to introduce a new segment for our website. This new segment "volunteer stories" is dedicated to all of the hard working volunteers making this campaign possible. As more stories are submitted we will continue to post them to give our readers a more direct window into our activities.

Manuel Pereda was nowhere to be found when all the TV cameras were out filming our efforts yesterday. That was because he was too busy actually working on our behalf installing 30 new signs along West King Edward between Oak and Ontario. Manuel was not only adding new locations but replacing signs stolen in the middle of the night. I guess Mr. Emerson does visit the riding... if only in the middle of the night to take down our signs. Newsflash... we have plenty more and this kind of behaviour only serves to confirm that we are taking the correct and necessary steps towards success.

As an added bonus we would like to thank the residents of the 300 block of West King Edward where there are 7 signs in a row.

Manuel describes himself as a humble little soldier and is out installing another 20 signs today, but we all know what a critical role he has played in our success.

Thank you for all your efforts... and keep up the great work.
