Conservative Party won't apologize for inappropriate remarks
On Tuesday this week an official of the Conservative Party, Peter Appleton - president of the New Westminster--Coquitlam Conservative riding association - hurled what can at best be called a xenophobic insult at pro-democracy campaigners assembled at an event featuring the Prime Minister.
The Campaign to De-Elect David Emerson two days ago called for an official policy from Appleton, his riding association, the Conservative Party and the Prime Minister. No apology has yet been offered. When will the Prime Minister and his party do the right thing and stand up for Canada? Racism has no place in our country.
